Stars Choirs & Carols 2013

 

THE EVENT:

Stars, Choirs and Carols 2013 was an event helping two charties while also attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the most carol singers singing together. Miriam O’Callaghan was the host of this very exciting event in Croke Park on the 19th December 2013. Along with Miriam on the night was Louis Walsh, Celine Byrne, The Celtic Tenors, Lisa Hannigan and the Amry No.1 band under the musical direction of Lt Col Mark Armstrong.

THE RESULT:

Stars, Choirs and Carols was a festival of songs, a Guinness record attempt and a fundraiser. Organised jointly with  Cliona’s Foundation & The Sanctuary charity, this was a unique event which saw a host of stars on stage in Croke Park, Dublin on December 19th.  The monies raised went towards providing financial assistance to families with critically ill children.
