Live TV Floor Manager

I have worked as floor manager (FM) over the years in live broadcast especially in sports from rugby, soccer, GAA, horse racing to large scale national state events. The (FM) is responsible for giving information from the director in the control room of the OBU, to the crew on the studio floor, and then back to the director.

An (FM) must be able to work under pressure with composure, anticipate potential problems and know how to address them, communicate effectively and quickly, be able to work with different personalities, and know how to multitask. Floor managers require a good sense of timing and space.

Live Show Caller

Show callers don’t create, manage or produce the event. The show caller is responsible solely for delivering the audience experience.

I have excellent people skills and enjoy client management - working on a strategic level enabling clear message, clever production tools, high impact and relevant visual content as well as supporting speakers in their presentation development and performance.

My age and experience leaves me very well placed and comfortable to work at senior management level and my diplomatic skills and ‘big picture’ view aid me in becoming a trusted and respected player in any production team and to any client, so whatever production support you may need I can help.
